1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one move. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.
The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those areas that the robot can't reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled whenever required. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning p reference s.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). best automatic vacuum cleaner mopping capabilities are also excellent, with a pair spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also replenished at the top of the station if required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent, navigating tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin around obstacles. This could lead to missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they're not able to get all dust. It's essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It is simple to connect it to your WiFI network at home and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen in this price range, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't pick up cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like to keep out of the app.
